I have not been able to find any record of Daniel's birth.

[Ref, p. 90] Sarah was the daughter of Cyprian and Sarah (Harmon) Dudley of Chester. [Ref, 3;109] She was born on 19 Jan 1757. [Ref, 3;109] She died on 1 May 1840 [Ref, age 83] in Haddam.    Joseph Clark enlisted as a private in Col. Abraham Tyler's regiment of militia in the Revolutionary War in Sep 1774. [Ref, 3;109] He was in Capt. John Ely's Company in Col. Samuel H. Parson's Regiment serving in the vicinity of Boston from 8 May to 18 Dec 1775. [Ref, 3;109] He was a corporal in Capt. Aaron Steven's company in Col. Samuel Mott's regiment from 22 Jun 1776 to 30 Dec 1776. [Ref, 3;109] He was a sergeant in Capt. Samuel Hubbard 's company and from Jul to Oct 1777. [Ref, 3;109] He was a private in Capt. John Ventre's company from 1 May to 1 Nov 1778. [Ref, 3;109] His widow was granted a pension for his revolutionary service upon her application made 6 Jan 1837. [Ref, 3;109]

[Ref, 2;217] He was born about 1760. He died on 3 May 1839, age 79. [Ref, 2;217] He married first Sarah Welles on 11 Jan 1781. [Ref, 2;217] Sarah was born in 1757 and died on 30 Sep 1819, age 62. [Ref, 2;217] He married second as her second husband Sylvia Stevens. [Ref, 2;217] Sylvia, the Robert and Dency Stevens, died on 2 Nov 1822, age 60.    Nathaniel was a private in Capt. Bristol's company in the East Haven Alarm of 1779 in the Revolutionary War. [Ref, 2;217]

Thankful Clark was born about 1754. She died on 8 Apr 1828, age 74, probably in Exeter, Otsego, New York and is buried in the Exeter Center Cemetery. [Ref] Thankful of Old Haddam married Nathan Harding on 14 Oct 1773 in the Third Church of Saybrook, Chester, Middlesex, Connecticut. [Ref, p. 90]
