2. Joseph Hildreth was born on 30 Nov 1695 in Chelmsford. [Ref, s. Joseph and Abigail] He married first Phebe Fletcher after 29 Mar 1720 when their intention was recorded [Ref, p. 53] in Chelmsford. [Ref] He may be the Joseph, Jr. who married [second] Abigail Hill of Billerica on 22 Feb 1743/4 in Westford. . [Ref]
   On 2 Nov 1714 Littleton was incorporated and seven Chelmsford families, including Joseph's [this Joseph?], were annexed to the parish there until the west parish of Chelmsford was formed. [Ref, p. 12]
   1. Corp. Hosea Hildreth was born on 21 Nov 1744 in Westford. [Ref] He died on 20 Dec 1776 in Westford. [Ref] He is buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Westford. [Ref] He married Experience Keep on 22 Jun 1769 in Westford. [Ref]
      Hosea was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He fought in the Battle of Concord in Apr 1775. [Ref]
      1. Experience "Pedee" Hildreth (supposed daughter) is supposedly the Experience Hildreth who married Leonard Proctor, Jr. on 1 Jan 1794. This Experience died on 24 Jul 1849. She married second William Bond on 3 Oct 1813. [Ref, #18631]
      2. Unknown Hildreth married Levi Wright.
         In 1846 Levi Wright, age 68, of Westford said that he married a sister of the Pedee Hildreth who married Leonard Proctor. [Ref, #18631]
   2. Phebe Hildreth died on 13 Aug 1762, age 41, in Westford and is buried in the Fairlawn Cemetery. [Ref] She married Philip Proctor on 10 Feb 1747. [Ref, p. 28]
   3. Hannah Hildreth was born on 5 Dec 1750 in Westford. [Ref] Hannah, the wife of Jonathan, died of consumption on 5 Feb 1815, age 64 years, in Pepperell. [Ref] She married Jonathan Keep [Ref, p. 44] on 26 Jul 1769 in Westford. [Ref]
