RICHARD SPARROW (d. 1661) of Eastham
Parents:
Richard Sparrow of Eastham died on 8 Jan 1660/[1] in Eastham. [Ref, 6;203]
On 24 Jun 1639 Mary Moorecock consented to become an apprentice of Richard Sparrow and Pandora his wife. [Ref]
Richard Sparrow is in the Plymouth section of the 1643 list of those between 16 and 60 able to bear arms in Plymouth Colony. [Ref]
Richard was an inhabitant of Eastham on 22 May 1655. (As was a Jonathan Sparrow) [Ref]
In his will of 18 (9) 1660, Richard asked to be buried in Eastham and he names his wife Pandora, his son Jonathan and his grandchildren John, Priscilla and Rebecca Sparrow. Inventory on his estate amounted to £85. [Ref]

Jonathan Sparrow was born about 1633. He died on 21 Mar 1706, age 70. [Ref] He married first Rebecca Bangs on 26 Oct 1654 [Ref says probably the 26th] in Eastham. [Ref] He married second Hannah (Prence) Mayo. [Ref] He married third Sarah (Lewis) Cobb [Ref] on 23 Nov 1698. [Ref, p. 29]
Jonathan was an original inhabitant of Eastham on 22 May 1655. [Ref]
He was the most prominent citizen of Eastham. [Ref]

REBECCA SPARROW (1655-1740)

Rebecca Sparrow was born on 30 Oct 1655 in Eastham. She died on 7 Feb 1740 in Harwich. She married Thomas Freeman on 31 Dec 1673 in Eastham. [Ref]

RICHARD SPARROW (abt 1675 - 1728) of Eastham

Richard Sparrow was born about 1675. His gravestone says that he died on 13 Apr 1728 in Eastham [Ref], age 53. He married Mercy Cobb on 4 Feb 1701/2 in Eastham. [Ref, 7;19]
