NICHOLAS SNOW (d. 1676) of Eastham

Nicholas Snow died on 15 Nov 1676 [Ref, p. 11] in Eastham. [Ref, 6;203] He married Constance Hopkins. [Ref, p. 9]
Nicholas came to New England in the Ann in 1623. [Ref, p. 11]
On 2 Jan 1632/3 and on 2 Jan 1633/4 the General Court asked the colonists to pay taxes, in grain or the equivalent. [Ref][Ref] Nicholas was assessed relatively low taxes in both years. [Ref]
Nicholas was a freeman in 1633. [Ref, p. 9] He is in the Plymouth section of the 1643 list of those between 16 and 60 able to bear arms in Plymouth Colony. [Ref]
He was an original inhabitant of Eastham on 22 May 1655. [Ref] He served 16 years as town clerk. He was deputy for three years from 1648. [Ref, p. 11] He was a selectman for seven years. [Ref, p. 11]

Elizabeth Snow was born about 1640 in Plymouth. [Ref, p. 22] She died on 16 Jun 1678 in Eastham. She married Thomas Rogers on 13 Dec 1665 in Eastham. [Ref 6;14]
