    On 18 Oct 1742, her father's estate owed Deborah Gleason five pounds and 12 shillings for nursing him. [Ref, p. 15]
    Isaac was the head of one of 17 families that were set off from Sherborn to Framingham in a boundary dispute settled in 1710. [Ref, p. 1786] He bought 80 acres from Jonathan Lamb on 18 Feb 1725. [Ref, p. 1786] He opened a tavern in 1726. [Ref, p. 1786]

  3. Dea. Timothy Leland was born on 22 Feb 1684 [Ref, p. 9, only the year] in Sherborn. [Ref, s. Ebenezer and Deborah] He died on 1 Apr 1748, in his 64th year, in Holliston. [Ref, Dea.] He married Elizabeth Learned [Ref, pp. 161-169, d. Dea. Benoni] on 27 Jan 1709/10 [Ref, pp. 21-22] in Sherborn. [Ref]
    Dea. Timothy received 17 pounds and ten shillings from [his father] Ebenezer before his death. [Ref, p. 17]
    On 18 Nov 1723 Timothy was one of the inhabitants west of Dopping Brook in Sherborn who petitioned for land that was to be set off from Sherborn and who agreed to do all public duty except help rebuild the meeting house until they were formally set off. [Ref, pp. 37-8]
    He was granted administration on his father's estate on 18 Oct 1742. [Ref, p. 15] On 6 Nov 1743 Dea. Timothy presented the inventory. On 20 Feb 1749/50 Ebenezer's heirs David and Asaph Leland requested that Caleb Leland be appointed adminstrator to replace Timothy, who was by then deceased. Caleb requested 23 pounds to pay Timothy's estate for his work and a fee for himself. [Ref, p. 16]

Ebenezer and Patience] She must have died by 12 Jan 1753 when her son represented her interests in the settlement of her father's estate. She married [as his third wife] Elkanah Haven [Ref, pp. 161-169][Ref] of Framingham on 5 Feb 1716/7 in Sherborn. [Ref] Elkanah the son of John and Hannah (Hitchins) Haven and the grandson of Richard and (Susanna) Newhall Haven. [Ref] He was born about 1685. [Ref] He died before 1756. [Ref] He married first Abigail Barbour on 23 Nov 1708 in Framingham. [Ref, "Barber"] He married second Mary Walker on 2 Dec 1714. [Ref, d. Thomas and Martha (Howe)] He married forth Lydia Unknown. [Ref] Lydia was his widow in 1765.

  3. Isaac Leland was born on 19 Apr 1702 in Sherborn. [Ref, s. Ebenezer and Patience] He died on 14 Jan 1733 in Holliston. [Ref] Isaac, the son of Ebenezer, Sr., married Mary Hunt of Sudbury on 30 Nov 1721. [Ref]
    Isaac received 100 pounds from [his father] Ebenzer about 1723. [Ref, p. 17]
    Somewhat confusingly, this Isaac Leland of Holliston had a cousin Isaac Leland of Sherborn who was one year younger and also married a woman named Mary.

  5. Amariah Leland was born on 11 Dec 1710 in Sherborn. [Ref, s. Ebenezer and Patience] He died in Mt. Desert, Maine. [Ref, pp. 161-169] He married Ursula Lovet on 10 Oct 1734 in Holliston. [Ref]
    Amariah received half of his home from his father Ebenezer in 1731/2. [Ref, p. 17] He purchased the other half for 300 pounds. [Ref, p. 17]
    On 18 Oct 1742 his father's estate owed Amariah 12 pounds and 17 shillings for appraising. [Ref, p. 15]
    On 21 Jun 1753 the land Amariah reeived was appraised at 400 pounds at the time he bought it and 11,000 pound after his improvements. The appraisers were Daniel Emerson, Aaron Morse [the husband of Ebenezer's brother Hopestill's son Henry's daughter Ann] and John Leland, Jr. [the son of Ebenezer's brother Hopestill's son John].
