Bethia Cartwright of Salem wrote her will on 2 May 1640 and it was proved on 30 Jun 1640. In it, she left many of her meager possessions to the Jackson family. John Jackson, the son of John Jackson, was given a dozen spoons, a porringer and her bible. Margaret, the wife of John Jackson of Salem, was given "my box of linning, with a payre of shetes". [Ref] Is this the right Jackson family? If so, what is the relationship between Bethia and Margaret?
In his 4 (6) 1646 nuncupative will, John Thorne gave John Jackson, Jr. his best hat. [Ref] In his 14 (9) 1646 will, Michael Sallows of Salem asks John to bring up his daughter Martha. [Ref] On 28 (10) 1647 the Court at Salem mentioned that two of Michael's children were living with John Jackson. [Ref]
