William, Robert or John could have been the father of the Heath children baptised
in Ware in the 1680s and 1690s. However, Richardson [Ref]
makes two arguments for William being the father. First, the roughly every two
year spacing suggests that there was just one family. In 1604 the father's name
is included: Thomas is the son of William. No more children are listed for William
after Thomas. Second, Edward left his son William his house, suggesting that
William was well established in Ware by Mar 1592/3. [Ref]
