  1. Charles Latimer Minor was born in Herkimer county, New York. He died at a hospital for the insane on 11 May 1917 in Saint Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri. He is buried in the Mount Olive Cemetery in Marshall, Saline, Missouri. He married Anna Belle Wood. Anna, the daughter of Milton and Jeanette (FieldsS) Wood, was born on 7 Jun 1839 and died on 29 Mar 1933 in Marshall.
    Charles was a confederate soldier in the Civil War, first a corporal in B Company, 1st Missouri Infantry Regiment and then a captain in Shelby's Missouri Cavalry.
    1. Woodie H. Miner was born on 22 Apr 1870 in Marshall. She died on 9 Feb 1955 in Houston, Harris, Texas. She was buried in the Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery in Houston. She married James M. Sparks.
      1. Adele Sparks was born on 13 Apr 1893 in Marshall. She died on 29 Jun 1973 in Houston and is buried in the Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery in Houston. She married Pierre Louis Michael. He was born on 4 May 1892, died on 26 Jul 1963 in Houston and is buried in the Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery.
        1. James Sparks Michael was born on 3 Oct 1913 in Houston. He died on 15 Mar 1973 in Houston and is buried in the Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery.
    2. Lottie Miner was born on 3 Sep 1875 in Saline county, Missouri. She died on 28 Apr 1961. She is buried in the Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. She married Robert Vaughn Monatgue. Robert, the son of Reuben Vaughn and Emily (Hemmet) Montague was born on 8 Feb 1872 in Saline county. He died on 28 Dec 1937 in Saline county and is buried in the Ridge Park Cemetery. The census records show no children for Robert and Lottie.
    3. Louise Anna Miner was born on 27 Dec 1877 in Saline county. She died on 15 Jul 1952 in rural Blackwater township in Saline county and is buried in the Ridge Park Cemetery. She married Edwin Bedford Blair. Edward, the son of John and Nancy (Garrard) Blair, was born on 14 Oct 1877 in Harrison county, Kentucky. He died on 1 May 1942 in rural Blackwater township in Saline county and is buried in the Ridge Park Cemetery. The census records show no children for Edwin and Louise.
    4. Boyd M Miner was born on 25 Jul 1882, died on 25 Sep 1883 and is buried in the Mount Olive Cemetery.
  2. Diantha C. Minor was born on 19 Mar 1837 in New York. She died on 2 Sep 1920 in Chicago and is buried in the Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Cook, Illinois. She married Dewitt C. Brady on 10 Feb 1862 in Warren county.
    Dewitt enlisted in Company F of the 17th Illinois Infantry in May 1861 and was discharged in Jun 1864.
    1. Ella Brady was born in 1867. She married Charles McJilton in Saline county in 1893.
    2. Dewitt C. Brady, Jr. was born in 1868. He died between 1900 and 1910. He "is believed to have" married Inez Tindall. "It appears" Inez married second Diantha's brother George F. Miner.
  3. Marilla Ella Minor was born in 1849 in Warren county, Illinois. She died on 4 May 1870 in Monmouth and is buried in the Monmouth Cemetery. A transcription from the Review Atlas of Monmouth, dated 13 May 1870, found on her Findagrave page says, "Miss Ella E. Miner ... died quite suddenly Wednesday morning last in the 20th year of her age. She was attacked by severe pain in her side on Tuesday evening followed by convulsions, and died about 10 o'clock the following morning. It is stated that the disease that caused her death was congestion of the brain. Her funeral took place from the First Baptist Church on Thursday afternoon. Miss Miner was a lovely and intelligent young lady. She was the author of several articles that have been published over the signature of 'Ella'."
  4. George F. Minor was born on 27 May 1854 in New York or Connecticut. He died on 31 Oct 1927 in Texas county, Missouri. He is buried in the Allen Cemetery in Raymondville, Texas, Missouri. He married first Mary W. Parker on 7 Oct 1874 in Des Moines county, Iowa. Mary, the daughter of Brazilla and Zoe (Pease) Parker was born on 25 Mar 1855 in Monmouth. She died on 27 Dec 1937 in Chicago and is buried in the Graceland Cemetery in Chicago. George and Mary divorced by 1900. She married second Louis Lederer on 18 Apr 1900 in Chicago. It appears that George married second Inez, the widow of his nephew Dewitt Brady, Jr. Inez, the daughter of Fielding Wilhite and Mary H. (Gaw) Tindall, was born on 24 May 1872 in Howard county, Missouri. She died on 18 Jun 1928 in Raymondville, Texas, Missouri and is buried in the Allen Cemetery in Raymondville.
    1. William Miner was born about 1876.
    2. Jennie Bell Miner was born in 1878.
    3. Unknown infant daughter Minor (possibly Jennie) was alive in 1880.
    4. Stillborn child in 1883.
