A Subscriber, "Early Ipswich Families," New England Historical and Genealogical Register 2, 1848, 174-7.
The author claims that Wait's [Ref] list of those who contributed to the salary of Maj. Denison is incomplete. The records from the "last day of the last month, 1641" show many other commoners in Ipswich. These include the following people named in this genealogy: Thomas Boreman, Lionel Chute, Isaac Cummings, John Dane, Sr., Thomas Howlett and John Perkins, Sr.
The records also show that on 6 Apr 1641 Reginald Foster was granted meadow in exchange for a hovel.
The auther claims that the Mr. Epp's on Wait's list is Daniel Epes, who married the daughter of the Hon. Samuel Symonds.
