BRAINTREE, NORFOLK, MASSACHUSETTS
The land that later became Braintree was colonised in 1625 by Capt. Wollaston. Originally called Mount Wollaston by the English, it was later called Merry Mount. The town of Braintree was incorporated in 1640.
