  1. Samuel Adams was born on 21 Jul 1714 in Chelmsford. [MVRC1] He is probably the Samuel who married Esther (Parker) Emerson on 15 Dec 1746 [APB]. This Samuel and Esther named their children Samuel, Lydia, Pelatiah, Sarah, Esther, Rebecca and Betsey. [GHHA, p. 100]
